While working in my grandmothers attic I spied what looked to be a very bus like cardboard box. When I pulled it out and asker her about it, she said that she's had it since 64 when she and grandpa bought a new Transporter. Its been sitting in the attic since 65! She very kindly told me that it belonged with me now.
It was a toy box that the dealership in NC gave to them when they bought their new bus. I wish it was in better shape but I'm stoked to have it regardless.

Wow! This reminded me that decades ago I found one of those in basically mint condition in a stall of an antique shop near Greely, CO while visiting the "in-laws". I didn't know they existed at all at that point, so it was a bit of a shock. Needless to say I own it. I probably bought it for less than $25 and currently it is disassembled and carefully flat-stored in out climate-controlled basement. I assume that they didn't come with a lid, as I've never heard of one or seen one with a lid. There seem to be so few of them that I have no idea how to value one today, even for insurance purposes. Being a Bus nut, I'm just glad I stumbled into one and have such a nice one!

Picked this up from a Stihl dealership. 1:43 scale Schuco. Has really nice applied details. Windshield wipers, side mirrors exterior lighting. _________________ ‘70 transporter

In case anyone is wondering where my current avatar comes from, it's from the colorful packaging of this 1977 AHI
(Azrak Hamway Intl.) packaging for their official Bugs Bunny Stunt Car. There were also VW stunt cars for Disney
characters including Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
The packing folded into a ramp to launch and somersault the car. making it a rare item to find mint on card. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.

Cool legos!
Here are some pictures of a recent gift I received - a Dinky low light:
I don't have too many ghia toys so I wasn't sure where to put it; in the end I decided to display with my Corgi type 2's:

Seems like there should be more than one VW listed on card, given all the different variations that Husky produced. Here are some of mine:
