All,
I saw a jalousie window assembly that has three standard sized windows enclosed in a single frame. Had to be 4 ft long? Any idea what it fits?
Thanks,
Dave

Dave, is this what you are referring to? I'm sure made by Hehr. I've only had one of these in all the years I've been at this.

They would be for a Panel where you cut an appropriate size opening to fit.

That looks to be pretty well made. Windows like this are still being produced in Mexico.

This has an aftermarket look because:

No pre-drilled holes on the flange for affixing to the body surface.
The flange looks almost too small compared to the attached photo.

Aftermarket crank handles.

Should be stamped somewhere with Hehr info - like Hehr L-2187.

The most standard size glass pane is 16"x 4" Even Safety glass is not cheap & this window needs 12 panes.

Although they can be installed it should be noted you are trying to install a large flat thing onto a curved surface.

PM me & we can work out what ur options are.

Bobby

When this was first posted, I looked in the '66 and '75 Hehr catalogs, and while some windows look close, I never saw this exact one.

This is not a three segment window but the only one of it's type (with a stationary section and jalousie section) that I have seen in a bay window. It is a Hehr window and the serial number / part number ends 001.

Not sure if you looked, it's all 3 windows as slats, not the picture window in the middle like a Riviera

I think this is custom, guy couldn't replace the little slats so he replaced them with a single sheet cut for it. I've never seen another one, and it's not in the catalog.

I believe this is for a mobile home based on not having screw holes. Also much later than 60's in my opinion. for a VW I think the glass would be safety glass as well, based on their catalog (these are from 1966) notice the ones for VW retrofit (and american stuff) are safety glass and screw holes. The "Mobile Home" versions no screws

Here is the famous 2187 as mentioned above. This is the one that fits in a kombi/standard window cut out

3610 is the standard you see in a split Riviera made from a panel

and you can see some combos of center or left and right being fixed glass. But now 3 rows of Jalousie windows (or 3 rows of fixed pane for that matter)

finally, mobile home windows, no screw holes

For what it is worth to this discussion, my window is marked:

HEHR L 1699 0001
