Saw this in a parts yard. Looks like it was pretty well done back in the day. Anyone see anything like it?

Yes, but the one I saw was being built in Western Washington state perhaps 20 years ago. At one point the person was active in the home built electric vehicle community. The build dropped off the radar and I have no idea what happened. I do remember the body narrowed and spliced together with a windshield installed, and the hood spliced together with that pointed nose. I also remember seeing some pictures with it sitting fenderless and on a stock chassis. I have no idea what happened to it -- perhaps it is that car! _________________

As a general rule, cheap parts are the most expensive parts you can buy. |

I recall seeing a similar narrowed Beetle at the Manassas Virginia May show.
Probably 92 or 93. Possibly owned by a Doctor??? .
I think it showed up in one of the magazines from that time period. |
