Looking good, it’s a long process just gotta keep making small progress all the time.
I would fill/bleed the brakes now to check for leaks, dont want brake fluid ruining your paint or have to bend and flare a new line after it’s all together and looking nice _________________ it's more fun loud and dirty |

I got the front brake lines and hydraulic clutch lines done a few weeks ago. Got busy with work so it kind of went on the back burner for a few days. Then I started collecting photos of rear bumpers and got my self all pumped up to build one. Here’s the end product. Took me about 2 days to fab it up after work. It still needs some tabs for the tail lights (not sure what I want to use yet but I want it to be wild- think star wars X wing tail lights or something).
Also, I cut away the tunnel for the throttle pedal.

Any chance you could post a picture or two of your peddles and mount. I have been debating on doing swinging peddles on mine but not exactly sure. _________________ my build page http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=536267 |

Check my last page. I have a few on there. If you want some more, just ask. I’d be glad to help. I remember there wasn’t much info on how to mount them. I’m not too fond of my mounts for them but as a Baja 1000 racing friend of mine once said “sometimes you have to let the problem develop before you know it’s a problem”. _________________ Toyotas are so bumpy it makes me sick, literally.

I got the bumper mostly done. Just a few things to add like mounts for a skid plate. I turn my attention to making a throttle pedal and looping the cooling system. I could’ve bought a throttle pedal like the one that I made but I had just gotten dimple dies and wanted to try them out.
Then on a Friday night after a couple beers, drunk me decided to jump in to looping the cooling system. Saturday morning sober me woke up and was very appreciative of what drunk me did the night before. He did some good tube bending. Thanks a lot dude!
