Fuel pump fix

This fuel pump caught my eye and at first I thought it was funny. Later I thought maybe this could be a good fix to get you home if that center pin has worked its way out. Simple effective not pretty but it works, and it is a cheap fix. You could carry a hose clamp in your bag of spares 😀

That is a pretty good idea.

I'd probably hook up the vacuum line too but maybe that's just me

Baaahhh, hooking up the vacuum might cancel out the added HP from the blocked heater outlets, it's all or nothing!

Slick fix on the pump, not elegant, but super functional and easy.

Before I got a genuine horizontal pivot pin with clamps into one of my fuel pumps, I made these retainers, based on gt1953's prototype.
