251407153E and G must both be a lower control arm, it's the same part number with a different letter which translates either in a variant and/or a supercession.
These free catalogs are full of mistakes. It cannot be letter G and a different part, that's not following the logic implemented by VW.

Try find for example the control module part number for a cruise control for a Syncro, you'll come back with a part number for a 2WD on any site you can find, even VW classic Parts, which is wrong.

Don't believe anything, always be critical, these things are like the Bible 😆😆

This topic is going to help a bunch as I put together the front suspension on the '87 Syncro. Thanks.

Can anyone direct me to the torque for the Lower Control Arm to the frame?

I cannot find that value in Bentley. This is the only diagram that shows the LCA but no bolt or torque. (page 40.19 is no help.)

Thank you!

And good grief that is about the worst use of a schematic to show a bolt and torque.

I annotated my Bentley on 40.16 to show the bolt and torque.
