Hello Ghia people I came across this Ghia Vert in the desert outside the Phoenix area....not sure what year but here is a dash photo...Maybe someone can tell me the year. Thanks

There is bondo on dash, what makes it not that sure, but the old ashtray in dash would make it till 7´65, having a king and link pin front end.
Original engine should be 1200 ccm, 34 / 40 hp
The steering wheel, if original, makes it after 7´63.
It´s not a lowlight before 8´59.
So probably model 64 or 65, as far to be seen.

'60 would still have the knob for manual choke above the ignition switch. I also don't see the two pull-up handles for heat next to the rear of the handbrake which started for '65, so this car would be up to '64. Door handle style is a good clue; I'd therefore say '61 to '63 but with a '64/'65 black-painted steering wheel. That horn bar is only '64 & '65 but those steering wheels were usually painted either ivory or a very light mint depending on the interior upholstery color. |
