Any one looking for a Donor Car- Subaru Forester 2008. I used it as a daily driver for 4 years. This has engine, harness, manual tranny and ECU intact. Runs but has clutch problems. Located in Chico CA. I did my conversion with the same model, using 5 speed transmission, did the harness myself and had a shop rebuild the EJ25 engine with premium parts and short oil pan. Runs great and i can go a lot faster! DM me if you're interested. |

Much obliged! I didn't get it registered in Cali, its registered in Washington. I tried my hardest to get it registered and they came up with the craziest reason why. Because they said the engine was from a truck and the VW was a car was the last draw and that's not aloud. I gave up at that point. when I retire I might pursue a solution. |
