I'll do that. Actually I posted an ad here in the forums before I left that I was travelling to Europe and would like to meet with tpe III owners. I met up with German guys and people in Spain but no one in France. Glad you still have that beautiful car, even though I would have kept it stock. But it is beautiful anyways! We'll keep in touch. _________________ I'd be UNSTOPPABLE if not for Law Enforcement and PHYSICS.
I recycle old cars and parts, other than when I rot, that's as Green as I am going to get.
Thanks to my Tesla driving neighbors, I feel more relaxed driving my SUBURBAN and old VW's.

I still have the 64 1500S variant with brown cord. see pictures below
a little drop with chromed radar wheels
with the 63 grey notch
we put a dual master cylinder for CSP dics brake kit
future plans, 1700 engine from 914 with IRS 71 floorpan
For pms.serrano, it was a shame we didn't met last year because I live really near Lille!! If you come again, just tell me to arrange a visit to see type 3.

Welcome back Bertrand. All the cool stuff you posted back in the days made me look for more cool stuff for my square! What happened to that cool squareback of yours? I was in Lille last summer and all around Paris and I never saw a Tpe III Just a couple of busses going towards Belgium. _________________ I'd be UNSTOPPABLE if not for Law Enforcement and PHYSICS.

Hello ibjack,
Very please to meet you again.
If you have always the wheel bearing, I've always for you the CE european front headlight....
For the rest, I bought my first type 3 in 1992 (I was 21) and since I always love collect the "hard to find type 3 parts" .
I've posted others pictures with the username of bertrand1. Does anyone knows how to put them togetheron my profiles with the others?
I will post the pictures with last parts I've collected...
Stay tuned.....

Negative. They used those on the N series cars from 64-65 and maybe some of the weird economy cars for other countries. All the 62 and 63 squares and notch's I have had have the front springs for the hood. _________________ Frank

it's simply in my garage now and I really don't have the time or money to restore it.
When I saw him, I had to buy it because it was an very early one.
I would like to have it finished but you know I have others type 3 to work on and you know also that type 3 are very difficult to restore even in Europe!
It's also an early one and a lot things are not common with others....
but I keep it warm in my garage for the future...
I don't know really if it's the earliest but it doesn't matter, I love it!!
