true !
pre57 German plates and the rear sits inside the fender well a lot. also the front.
pre 56 are known to break a torsion bar or two and sit low in front. those heavy 8 bar torsion packs were stiff, and there are many historic pics with ovals and splits notoriously hanging in their suspension. a 5 litre can or 2 of gas will do wonders on the front suspension.

the rear sure looks very low, even on cornering.

that BOSCH barndoor panel is wild, the ÖAMTC ( Austrian motoring Club) motorcycle has Viennese ( Vienna/Wien Austria) license plates. That is a DESOTO dealer, in Vienna ???
