Funny story, Danny and I were roommates during the 80's in Huntington Beach. We are still in touch to this day. I wish he was closer and not so busy, I could use his help on my KG.

New users can't PM people for 1 day to prevent spammers

You can email him through any of his ads on the site:

Or if you look at his feedback thread, his email is "exposed":

How can I purchase these panels? Samba won’t let me acquire your email address or PM you. I’d like to purchase a few repair panels from you if possible?

Its plain ole masking tape . First I spray area to copy with low tack contact adhesive. Then I lay down one layer of tape with sticky part of tape up , Then come back over with another layer of tape so that adhesive of tape down so its sticky to sticky of tape together and I change my pattern of overlapping in a cross direction. Hope that made since? LOL.

What is that blue material that holds the compound shape so well? Is it layers of some sort of tape or something else?

Couple patch panels I just finished for a customer . Started with a flexable pattern and transfered to flat piece of 20 gauge steel to shape . Used a rubber pad a E wheel and my Eckold , a power shrinker / stretcher.

Amazing work Danny! Any plans to start producing these lowlight headlight repair sections? I need a pair for my 58 coupe.
I would love to make them in some kind of production , But the dies would be insanely priced . So for now I can only make them by hand . But I did buy a 80 ton press and working on make'n the center section in the engine bay. And Thank You for the nice reply to the picture's
