Progressive issued a 20% premium credit for April and plan to do the same for May. _________________ Brian

Just got my number: $41 off my next payment. I'll take it. _________________ Larry in OB

Sucks that happened, but I'm surprised Geico is being uncooperative. In Feb of last year, their insured backed up WITHOUT LOOKING and jammed his hitch into my grille and hood. I claimed directly through them and it was quick and efficient. Actually, I was very impressed with Geico. I even got paid for extended rental AND compensation on a diminished value claim (but it was a newer car) Maybe become a squeaky wheel? |
I had a very similar experience. Ended up switching to Geico because of it. |
To be honest, if I didn't have USAA for my primaries, I would also have considered Geico. It's a remarkable marketing plan... treat the adverse claimants like real people who've suffered a loss, take care of them, and they might realize the light on the other side. GENIUS marketing for capturing new business! _________________ -Kent (BaT "daleallen")

I just deposited my 10 dollar check from Traveler's. Better than a poke in the eye, but not by much. _________________ Confusious say it takes it takes two wipes to know you need three, but it takes three wipes to know it only needed two. |

Havent heard a peep from my Classic car insurance giving me any $$ back on the 2 i have insured with them. Most likely i will get a letter stating:
"Sir, we regret the fact that we cannot return any of your premium because we have found that over the years you do more mileage broken down on a flatbed than actually driving them"
aka the "Obus curse" |
Since classic car insurance is low risk anyway, I sincerely doubt we'll see any rebate. To be honest, given what I pay for my coverage, I'm okay with that. My prior commentary was tongue-in-cheek. _________________ -Kent (BaT "daleallen")

That sucks-------and their premiums are sky-high to begin with. |
Exactly! I could do lots of things with that refund money, like buy a burger with no meat from Wendy's, fill my tank or buy a scratch off ticket. The choices are endless! |
Speaking of "buying a ticket", only a week left to buy yours.
