Ok i have a 71 deluxe i cant figure out how to remove the side cover? i believe thats what its called. On one side its what covers the sliding door rail, the other side its the same but doesnt cover anything. i removed the screws under it...but cant see any others... if you have a link on how to that would be great!! thanks guys....
i searched couldnt find anything... |

Bentley manual. You may wish you handn't worked on that without pictures and Bentley first. It isn't intuitive on a 1971 the first time you do it. There is a long rod that wedges it together. You have to loosen that long rod/bar and move it to release it. _________________

| Don't know if a '71 is different from later years, but on my buses the top edge is tightly wedged into place. You need to take a rubber hammer or something and beat the cover upward to free it. |

Beat it up on the driver side and loosen the retaining strip on the slider side. Plan on finding rust. _________________ 71 Superbug
