I am not completely sure with bumper bracket is for what years.
Here is a picture of the 4 different right side front bumper brackerts.
there are partsnumbers 141.707.138, 141.707.138A, 141.707.138B and 141.707.138C
From left to right: I think it is A, C, blank, B ?? (is this correct)
If so, does anyone knowns at what year the bump in the bracket appaired?
rear side:
From left to right 141.707.338 Blank and 141.707.338A?
Last question:
These are part number 141 707 121
Does anyone knows between these two (early style vs later style, fornt vs back??)

They are all the same, but part in right is with snapped tubular part. That happens all the time - yesterday I disassembles a rusted rear bumper for parts, and that support for bumper blades was in place with snapped tubular part, held by the bolt. _________________ The glory never gets old, just need new paint.

it appears to me that you have both front and rear covers in this picture.
the 2 on the left being front and the 2 on the right being rear.
I believe the left ones in each set are the earlier models (I had smooth ones on my '64 coupe at least). _________________ '65 Karmann Ghia 'vert

My 69 coupe has the smooth style covers. The bumpers and mounts appear to be original.

The ones with the holes on top are for the US style bumpers with overrides. The holes are only for the front bumper brackets.
@steve22: The rear bumper brackets have a different shape. You can see those in my second picture.
The big question is at what year the smooth style bumper brackets were changed to the brackets with the bump for the bumper.
