Hi togehter,

this time I´m restoring the engine of my December 52 barndoor panel van.
Do I have to install all the typical changes after 01.10.52 like in an beetle
engine? That means "no" K-Manifold, "no" star coil, "no" 26 VFIS carburator,
"no" flat 8 mm fuel pump? Or did VW changed this stuff in the bus production later?
Normally after 01.10.52 (beetle) I would need a normal star coil, normal manifold,
28 PCI carburator, a flat 6 mm fuel pump. What do you think?

Cheers
Claus

My money would be on the Bus engine receiving the upgrades on the same date as the Beetle

Agreed. Maybe even sooner. Check Progressive Refinements?
