| Quick question can I use a set of empi disc brakes ment for a link pin early beetle on a 1957 single cab ? Understanding that I’ll have to get different size bearing for the bigger spindles on the single and make or get new caliper brackets . Thanks |

I think you are on your own with this one. Empi does make a disk brake kit for early buses, as do other companies
There are a number of threads here for disk brakes, early and late.
If you had a late bus front end, the Type E kit is the best

I think if it was a viable option it would have been done a decade ago. Plus it’s a lot of work just to get four lug wheels. But if you pull it off I am sure a lot of people would be interested to see how you figured it out. _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.
