Hey thornton, you should educate the crowd as to the deal with the colors and that some are 12V positive ground versions... about as useless as tits on a boar. |
Ok I did some research. the two black ignition units are 12v Positive to battery, not ground these are specifically for VW's. The blue unit is 12v Negative battery and instructions show hookups as a universal unit for chevy's, fords' chryslers and vw's, either one, there is instructions for each
Now there is a red unit like this one pictured
This I am thinking is a 6 volt unit. I cannot say for sure but since the 2 different units i have being different colors, I would suggest this one as a 6v unit, no not 100% positive but I hope this help clears up anyones questions about these ignitions. _________________ Thornton |

I care cus its me selling the units. Thanks to Thorton We all no a little bit more about the red units cause they have no markings at all. I have a n.o.s boxed 12v neg model already.
And its always good to buff Empi/Speedwell with all you guys
