Well I like OE. No offense to anyone who likes to deck out there van to a new trendy look. To each his/her own. This post was not submitted in order to start a debate. What I am looking for is I want my van to look as close to original as possible and I would be grateful if someone could post pictures or tell me where to find pictures of OE wheel covers for my 82 westy.

This Camper has what looks like the original Westy hub caps for your year.

The center caps have a silhouett of a castle on them. Regular early vanagons came with hub caps that looked like "wire" wheels.
When I first got my Westy the hub caps where so beat up I through them away, Turns out they where the original ones. Embarassed

Here are 2 types of Vanagon hubcaps.

I've also seen the standard bay window hubcaps on early vanagon westies with chrome trim rings.

I think all three of those options are "proper".

Thanks for the picts guys. It turns out that the van came with two of the spoke style that earthmuffin posted a link to. Actuallly one is pretty broken up so now Im in the market for 3. Or I was actually thinking of going with the baby-moon style with beauty rings. At this point I have other concerns with the engine that need attending to when the thaw comes.
