I did a search and could not find what I needed. Basically my stock '67 carbs have different jets in them. Driver's side main jet is 132.5 and air correction is 150. Passenger side main jet is 130 and air correction is 120. Sound right for a stock 1600? I had an old VW mechanic tell me the jetting is different from side to side, but didn't know the numbers.

Thanks.

I have a copy of the factory fuel manual here. Let me see if I can scan the page and put it up.

left side of engine runs hotter than the right. A little richer mixture helps.

That is up to you. VW never made a 1776 air cooled. I can't help there. I don't have a T-2 or T-4 carb manual. The 1700 T-2 or T-4 would be close.

Hmmm...this being the case, would it be correct to have different jetting on aftermarket carbs, such as the Weber 34ICT's?

Possibly...

It doesn't hurt to experiment.
