From our buddy Karl here on a post last year sometime....
Yes, they have intermittant wipers.
You will need the turn signal switch, the intermittant relay that mounts in the center position of the fusebox, and the harness between the switch + the relay + the wiper motor; all from a 78/79 Champagne bus. BUT, the switch arm is brown and you CANNOT swap your black arm into it! The lever moves down for intermittant. The arms are different on the inside end.
Regular bus is off-up 1 for low- up 2 for high.
Champagne is down 1 for int-off- up 1 low- up 2 high.
The harness actually plugs into the fusebox where the relay plugs in. Individual wires..... if you find a Champagne bus, you will find it easier to cut that section out of the fusebox and use it like it is.
I may have one or two complete set-ups left.... I can take a pic of the pieces if any one wants a pic. |

It would be easier to paint the champaign bus a decent color and start from there, or so it would seem!
I'd say that's a cross between blood stain and melted Tootsie Roll colors together. (mine had corderoy seats, groovy)
Whose idea was that anyway? Anyone have the story behind that type of bus? |
