ConfusedI have a nastalgia buggy body from Berrin. I am building a Street Buggy.
I cut down a 1970 IRS pan. There are 2 1/2 drop spindels on the front. Is there any way to lower the rear IRS? I have been told the engin can be raised. How is this done. Thanks for any help.

You will need to reclock the rear torsion bars to lower the car. check the sticky thread at the top, it is for lifting so you will have to turn your trailing arms up instead of down.

raising the engine and transaxle is a technique used in swing axle drag cars to lower the center of gravity and keep minimal camber on the wheels. With IRS, you do not need to worry about this so much
