I photochopped somebodies ride with an idea that I am thinking about doing on my beetle. Sorry if it is your ride. What does everyone think?

I think it would look off tha hook if you do a nice clean job. Anything less than perfect and I think it would be a pain. A pain to look at that is......

I think bolting the seat frame directly to the floor should solve that problem.

i dunno, perhaps. Maybe its because i'm over 6ft and already have slight trouble fitting my frame into my bug.

But just to be sure, i'd run some measurements first. Last thing you want to do is finish building it, go to sit in and realize. "Oh Shit!!!!" Shocked

i personally could never see myself wanting to get involved with a project like that. im sure it would be fun and challenging on all levels. i LOVE the look, but i dont think i LOVE it enough to do it myself. if i had a rotted out early beetle and lots of spare time i could see it.
i guess you can see what kinda skills you REALLY have doing something like that.

Volksrods can be very cool. I would love to drive a wild ride like that but the time to get it that way is more than I have to spend. For now it's fun to look at the ideas. The renditions of joedirt are fantastic.

I would love to build this one.

Those things look cool if i was could fab like that i would get some junkyard cars and go to town .If i built one i id probly just get a cut the roof off a junk yard special and go topples it would be a little easier to build that way Smile
