OK here it goes...

I have three stering boxes and I want to know which one is which...

First box #311-415-131, aluminum cover with Oil filler. Rough, worn spot. came in a box of stuff.

Second box, 311-415-131B aluninum cover with NO Oil filler, and the Pitman arm has a stub sticking out of ot about 2.5 to 3". The box was filled with grease. Works very smoothly. Also came in a box of stuff.

Third box, says TRW on the side with no numbers on the aluminum cover plate. Still on 64 pan. Too dark to find any other #s.

I have a 1963 pan that I am placing a 57 rag onto. The pan is almost complete except fot the steering box and tie rods, 3" narrowed beam.

Which is the correct one? I don't care if it is an original 57 I just want it to work correctly.

Thanks,

Roger
