I have seats from an '86 in my '78 bus. the tracks are the same from '76-'79 and the '80 I have has the same tracks, so I'd assume '80-
86 for sure- possibly later models as well.
(I had to take off the arm rest since the door wouldn't shut because of the fresh air duct.)

Well all year Vanagon seats fit my early Vanagon, and I know early Vanagon seats will fit a Bay.(I'm guessing Westy too, with the swivel seats). I would take a guess again and say yes. So you can have them with arm rests or not. I've kept my early seats (without armrests) because they are in good shape and I like the wide walkway between the seats.

a pair of seats for $25?? Surprised

I hate you.....

this morning I went around all the junk yards in the neighbourhood and not a single one had vanagon seats (I already forgot about the bay seats).

I just went down to my local pick n pull yard for a 6 rib tranny I knew they had, and low and behold, there was a complete '84 Vangon in there since last time I went there. It has absolutely perfect brown front seats in it, and I grabbed em for $20 for the pair. They're already residing in my '79 Weekender. Motor isn't in it, but I can now sitin comfort while I make vroom vroom sounds in it. Embarassed

and to think, people bash vanagons- they do have comfortable seats, I must say! I enjoy driving mine to class each evening as the students ponder what strange creation it is. Rolling Eyes
