How much is it going to set you back?
Did you strip the interior?
EDIT: Nevermind. It looks like you did... _________________ No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow. |

I'm so glad you are sticking with the sage green. Keep the 70's alive, baby!

Your bus looks better than average in all the channels from the little I can see. The body repair work should be minimized along with the costs. _________________ '78 Westfalia CDN

thanks Richard, i don't expect that work to be a great expense. fortunately the person doing the work is also a close friend with several acvw restos under his belt. this will be a refurb not a full resto. Richard, i have a question for you. my replacement window rubber arrived from BD a few days ago. windshield seal is from mexico(not too thrilled with that) louvered window seals arrived from just kampers, they are black and appear to have 2 seals in each bag. you have any experience with these or know what the deal is? i expected 1 grey seal in each bag. thanks in advance,

I bought my windshield seal from OEVeedub and and my Jalousie seals from WolfsburgWest (via GoWesty).
I'm not sure what seal you have. All I can tell you about the windshield shield is be very careful installing it. Go slow and make sure you don't crack the glass. _________________ '78 Westfalia CDN

Dave...get your money back for that windshield seal and buy one from OEveedub. Don't learn the hard way like i did, two windshields later. _________________ Your car may do 0-60 in under 5 seconds, but can it sleep 4 and cook a meal?
