OK, raise your hand if you've ever had sex in, on, or under a Split Bus. Unlike in Clinton's book, oral, both given or received, does count. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

I'll be the first to raise my hand and say YES. Many times over as I'll bet anyone who has ever owned a split has. Soooooo shouldn't the question be who hasn't had sex in a split bus? _________________ Prosit!

Alex "The Vichingo" bought his all original 1964 21 Window from a group of nuns in a monastery in Rome, Italy, so I know the question is valid and will certainly spark some interesting and colorful answers. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

I'll bet she'd give it up in something a bit flashier like a Benz, a BMW, or a Lexus. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

There are advantages to owning a Westy
How else would one get the "Howling Monkey" award at a campout? Surely it isn't by flying solo... _________________ Insert random important looking club initials here. |

with 4 kids while camping it sure is hard to talk the wife into a roll in the hay, but at least it has happened at least once.
(it's a damn good thing I didn't have a bus in high school, I might have never done anything but spend time in the back w/ a certain someone) _________________ 62 Mouse Grey Deluxe

Oh, and just a tip for those who don't want to make it too obvious. Make sure you have a functional parking brake _________________ Insert random important looking club initials here. |

a 4 month dating scene dryspell doesn't combine well with a 3.5 month split bus ownership tenure...so none for me. I'm workin' on somethin' though, soon I hope. |

first thing i drove(of my own) at 16 was split, so yes. as for types, it was a panel camper conversion, a 13 window, a pop top westy, a kombi that i lived in for a while with a funky matress platform in back, a 15 window, and last but not least a single cab, in the cab of one(sorry it was a bay) and on the bed of another one which didn't roll as it had no tranny. |

I gotta admit that the '58 Single Cab provided the greatest challenge for my ponderous bulk. Now the '58 15 window I had back in the day, right outta high school, with era-correct bean bag chairs and no middle or back seats... That one saw more christenings than the pool at church.
Then I got married...
These days I worry about the OG upholstery being too fragile in the '66 Deluxe, the '64 SO-33 is full of spidey webs and a little creepy, the DC interior is too full of stuff to get into, and the '67 Westfalia is in my body guy's shop and I don't think he'd see the humor.
This thread certainly has sparked my interest in getting the spiders out of the '64 though... _________________ 60 DC

I gotta ask. Under??? First, if the two of you can get under your bus, then it isn't low enough. And second... Under?!? _________________ -Andrew |

<raises the hand> Yup. But who has done it in a bus in a college parking garage?
