will the thing pass smog if it dosent ideal it ideals when you frist start it up but after taht is gose by by i have a disxi ignition but liek it will ideal for about 10 mins then quite but i want to know if you can still pass smog with out it idealing

Check the idle selenoid on the side of the carburetor. It has the wire going to it from the + side of the coil. If it's loose or doesn't click replace it or cut off the plunger at the end of the rod and reinstall it.
