Does anyone know where to get these wheels or know anything about them? I've always liked this style but have been unable to locate them. TIA.

Those are very early alloys, so early in fact that they are hubcaps
Those are wolfsburg hubcaps that came on some early Vanagons.
They got the little wolfsburg Castle in the center hub. When I got my Westy I trashed the beat up hubcaps that where on it, my wife said "you better keep them" , but I thought they where just old aftermarket hubcaps. Turned out to be the original set of these _________________ My Art:

Mightyart is right - these are factory hubcaps that have the wolfsburg symbol on the center of them. I have a set on my 80 westie. They are rare and hard to come by. I am afraid that if someone knew how rare they were, they would steal them off of my van. I eventually want to get alloy rims because of my dislike of hubcaps (but I would still keep these hubcaps for memorabalia and because of how rare they are!) _________________ Life is a garden - dig it!

Pretty sure they were a South African option. If they are alloys (or were) they are VERY expensive. _________________ -Dan

I have actually seen real alloys that look just like the hub caps..... not sure if they were a european option and we just got fakies, of if they were aftermarket... It is a cool look if you have an early vanagon, fits well with the styling. _________________ '69 bug--rusty as hell

I have a perfect set of those hubcaps - if you are interested. I'm not sure what they are worth - make an offer.
I'm located near Iowa City.

Hubcaps. Sold a set off my rig for $25 on e-bay. No doubt you can buy some for much the same price. I happened to like the Mercedes turbine alloys so I modified a set to fit (and installed longer lugs, etc...)
