One proud owner, in Midland, Michigan. I'm not sure of the year of this barn door, can someone share most especially the details? I reached out to his daughter and waiting for more info as she lives near my in-laws family.

From my October 1996 issue of VW Trends, great articles and love the sewing machine on top of the Barndoor. I would love that bus. Enjoy.

yeah looks real freaky. appears to have post 55 door with large handle recess and still retains the old BD mirror arm and BD glass. mirror appears to be of the typical 1960s Motorcycle style, if not an Albert head. wheels have quite some offset, don't appear like 16s, but can't see any slots. also two toned and no color detailed hubcaps. good point on the 'aftermarket' rocker probably a cheap cobbled together heap form an era ( early/mid 60s?) when the first transporters were getting tired already. _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !

Found on Reddit.
Looks like the same bus. Same guy, second on the left?
