Hey guys,
Just how good are these Okrasa crankshafts for the amount of money people ask for them? If we where to compare one to a DPR welded stroker crankshaft what would the differences be besides the welded on counterweights of course? Is a Okrasa the same material as a original VW crankshaft?
Just curious, I see them all the time for 600.00 on up! Are they really that great for the money?
Thanks |

An Okrasa crank is a collectable item just like a Micky Mantle baseball card is. It's worth more sitting on your shelf as a show-n-tell item, then it is inside your motor. But other than that they were quality made original German part _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

In 1979 I bought two 84MM Okrasa crankshafts for a little under $2000. I use one in 1979 to build my 2333 motor. I have sold that motor and it's still running. Berg just polished and balanced the other one. To me the Okrasa crankshaft is the best in the world with no one in second place. My first crankshaft has hit 10 grand and thats no BS. Berg, Longerot, Vittone and many others ran there Okrasa into the 10 grands. Terry |
