I'm probably alone on this, but I think it looked much better before.. Save the ugly chromed rims and that stuff for something else. I dont understand doing stuff like that to such a nice complete Split! I guess it's to piss off the vintage purists? Seems kinda retarded and childish to me. Are we back in the second grade haha? I guess we are, so I hereby give you an atomic wedgie and say put that car back the right way and go buy a 74 Super Beetle to mess up! A stock Split is a beautiful thing, I hope I can find one someday.

Hummmm well, all of us coming from Germany would have ONE WORD for what U have done to this ONCE beautiful ORIGINAL car...............
Das ist eine echte Abtreibung!
The car is a real Abortion!
(I`m sorry but this is TERRIBLE what`s been done to a beautiful car, with a uncommon colour for a split window....)
I bet the German`s or European`s who sold it to you regret selling it in the FIRST place, if they would see it now, I know my friend`s in Germany who remarked about it after seeing it, and think that it`s criminal...............dropping front ends, and narrowed beams and stupid chrome wheels is for LATER cars (post 1965 CARS) ............. ALL ORIGINAL SPLITS are for saving as classics, (EXCEPT THE REAL SPENT AND ROTTED OUT ONES I can accept that as an alternative, DRAG CAR/CUSTOM but NOT a perfect ALL ORIGINAL car, that I`m sure was`nt CHEAP, it`s such a shame to see such a NICE car ruined by the so called "old school look"
(If you want OLD FASHIONED STYLE LOOK THEN WHY NOT A OKRASA MOTOR AND PORSCHE 16 INCH SLOTTED RIMS????????) Those parts would cost you only about $6,000+ more???????
I`m sure that you are going to be offended by this post, but well, I HOPE THAT ALL THE ORGINAL PARTS ARE STILL IN YOUR GARAGE, so that when you have lost interest in the car in 2 or 3 years you can resell it to a VINTAGE collector who will take her right back to the PROPER ORIGINAL condition, that she SURVIVED all these many HARD years in EUROPE as.................YOU WILL NEVER GET GOOD MONEY FOR A MODIFIED CAR, OR AS MUCH AS IT WOULD BE IF IT WAS 100% ORIGINAL.
This is JUST my opinion and please respect it.

I've got to agree with that. Some people just shouldnt own a Split Bug, they dont appreciate a real car. Stick with pimping out the Suburban some more. |

Though I agree with Der Winkermeister, it's really up to Quintin for what he does to his car. After all, it is his.
Still, what a shame. _________________ Riding a moped is like riding a fat chick? |
