Hello Everyone,
I thought it was about time to let everyone know that the AW molds are
safe and sound, resting comfortably in a locked indoor storage
facility. I'm in the process of researching possible manufacturing
facilities to put these tops back in production. So, I'll let everyone
know when they are actually available. In the mean time, I know there
are quite a few people out there that have expressed interest in
acquiring a new top for their pride and joy. If you know of
anyone else who wants one I'll be taking orders this year, if all
goes well. Not sure of what it will cost yet, so be patient. If you are serious
about obtaining a new top let me know.
Happy days! |

Beckster---I'm in the central valley near Sacramento.
Earthmuffin---I retrieved what is suppose to be vanagon molds. There are two outer molds and one inner mold. From inspecting someones van that has an AW top it looks like at least one of the outer molds is an AW. I'm not sure what the other top is yet. I'll be pull at least one blank out of each mold and will know more when that happens. |
