Reciept says 1847v as a part # (009 distributor 1973 17 liter)
lost the little plastic shim and was wondering if i could use a feeler gauge?

Set the air gap between the module and magnet sleeve using the plastic feeler gauge (.030" thick). This is done in the same manner as points. Note: In some kits the modules are stationary and do not require air gapping.

you might want to experiment with the gap to get the dwell where you want it. I had to set mine a little closer to get my dwell lower ( it was at 60 wit a .030 gap on mine) Or read ratwells write up on dwell and the pertronix.
