i dont have a garage, but i have a car that would be tough to replace thought my general geico coverage. are there any stated-value insurance policies out there for vintage cars not parked in a garage. all of them that i have found must find the car parked in a private, secure, enclosed garage. thanks. |

Not that i've ever seen.
It's assume that a vintage car is a "hobby" car and the risk of damage is much higher if it's kept outside.
I suggest that you LIE. _________________ Glenn

It'll be a bitch to make a persue a claim when the adjustor shows up and there is no garage....
I tried for antique insurance in NYC and had to get photos of the car in its locked, secure strorage as my house had no garage (see avatar). The insurance guy told me that if I called in a claim it had better be from the side of the road somewhere and not in front of my house. _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?
