I have just gotten an e-mail from someone who is frustrated with his current project. he's hit a brick wall with finding a decent tranny builder, so he's looking for recommendations on having a type 1 trans built up for desert running. running a mild 1835 engine in a 1800 lb buggy with 31" tires. looking for durability and also wants to keep revs at about 3500 rpm at 70 mph.
Toss me your thoughts, guys. _________________ OG JHC

Hmm....., How do I put this nicely. Dont buy a GEX anything! Rancho is who you want to build a tranny for you. |

There's a guy here in Arlington, TX I believe it's Bug Stop. He's got a pretty good reputation. _________________ Tehachapi, CA
