I might be able to use the early transporter door pockets on a job I'm doing but I need to know one thing: dimensions. I searched and found plenty of information about how to install them and where to find the ABS replacements but nothing about what size they are.
If nobody has dimensions on hand could a generous soul throw a tape on one for me?

| The pockets Clara makes measure about 8" X 9.75" on the inside edges of the bowl. This is an exact copy of the mint original one she used as a template, although we have a stack of ratty used originals here in the shop and they do not all measure exactly the same size as the one we copied. |

I have saved originals taken off my -56 ambulance.
Measured them and inside dimensions were 240mm x 195mm.
Depth 40mm measured from mounting surface. (millimetres) |

The pockets Clara makes are about 1.75" deep. |
