Says it's been in the same family since '62......I'm betting "Mike" is the grandson of the guy who bought it back then and he was probably given the bus as it sits for a graduation present or something......he's probably got it for sale to buy a camaro.

There might be some extra goodies in the bus....toilet, stove, rack, childs cot and even better....period accessories!!

That combined with the rusty driprail photo being the main picture can't be doing it any good.

Bang a quick ad in with an asking price of 20K, then ring him, give yourself a good platform to negotiate from! Wink

Haven't you just bought a bus? Way too much time then! And yes, I would have a hard time parting with that beetle.

We might be looking at another Westy bidding war on this one like in that "other" thread.

I emailed the seller to see if this was still available since I can get to Wichita in a few hours and have relatives there. The seller was quite nice in his response, said he was overwelmed by the response, and that he already had an (unconfirmed) offer for $15K. Guess I won't be making the trip after all...

That's about 45 minutes from me. If it isn't sold yet, I can try to get down there sometime this week to take some pictures. No promises though..

Not so fast, I've got an agent in Florida now.... I'm considering letting him negotiate prices for me from now on....

It's probably a little early for him to be submitting any offers on this vehicle.... Laughing

there is a disporportionate number of westies that are in good condition due to the facts that they were often used at recreational vehicles and they were very expensive and thus appreciated by the people who had to shell out so damn much cash for them.
