I saw some of those at the local shop and wondered how well they sealed. Also wondering why they only come with one o ring per tube.

I have used those as an emergency repair for leaking pushrod tubes. They worked well, but I didn't trust them, so I made my own modifications. I use two orings and I added some RTV to the threaded part before I tightened them. They didn't leak, but I cheated.

I read somewhere that every two piece type tube has is pros and cons - but they have always managed to leak for someone - and not at the ends.

I think they are great for a quick fix, and I am sure others have had great use full time with them too.
