I am building my kit car (based on a full sized VW Bug Pan) and need some guidance as to who makes the best seat (highest quality and most reasonal price for the features offered).

I do not need or want a racing seat but just one that can hold you, buffer you from jolts, and last a while.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Mike Question

small sports car seats seem to be the best deal.

We have one with seats from a Fiero... I've had them from an MR2...

Our baja project is using them from a 1990 mitsu eclipse.

If you look around you can find them with integrated seat tracks and speakers in the headrest.

I'll send you a set of Scat procars for free if you can recover them. PM me if interested.

Keeep in mind how narrow Beetles are and kits can even be more narrow. This will limit what can fit in your kit. Also what style of kit do you have and what style do you want your kit to be (vintage, racer, exotic, etc). A new high-end race seat will look out of place in a 356 kit, etc. It's all about personal preference really, anything can work.
