What type of brakes are these. I've been told Porsche but what kind of porsche? Are they rare? What are they worth?

Those are 356 A brakes. They are somewhat rare, but not as desired as the "B" brakes. Both are very similar, just the B brakes have the cooling fins on the front face which look killer when nicely polished up.

Price = a complete set front, rear, wheel cyls and powder coated backing plates just sold of Samba for about $550 I think.

Do you know how much life is left on the drums. I would want to know how much is left on the drums before I would be interested.

supposedly they were low milage according to the previous owner.
