This Forum is for discussion of future, current, and past shows.
Please use the location & date of the show in the title.
Example:
VW Classic 2008 - Los Angeles, CA - June 6, 2008
If you have a show that occurs every year or a few times/year, please start a new thread for each event with the date in the title.
We try to "Sticky" upcoming shows about a month beforehand so they get more visibility and discussion.
If you know of one that needs to be made into a Sticky, Send a PM to EverettB
Looking for upcoming VW events in your area or vacation destination?
Please search the Shows Listing in the Community section before starting a thread to ask.
Need to add a Show to the Event Listing on the site? Click "Add an Event" on the link above
We do not sticky ongoing events such as club meetings or events that occur every month.
If you posted your show far in advance, make sure to come back a few weeks before the event and post again in the same thread to remind people it's coming up!
This also helps us see upcoming shows near the top so we can Sticky them automatically.

Linking to external photos in Show Threads
There is no issue doing that - feel free to post external links.

Often people post photos on Instagram from a VW event, all with the same tag.
If you want to link to those here, this is the format to use:
https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/Tag/
Replace Tag with the tag you want to use.
Example:
https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/type3rally2017/
