|
|
I found these buses a couple years ago on the way to visit inlaws, originally I wasn't even allowed to get close enough to get a good look, 2 years later I brought them home!
62 std. with a factory installed westfalia interior, 61 w/t 15, 66 13, and a 67 riviera.
profesionally modified wheel wells, og sprints, fugly pin stripping, and mud flaps at all 4 wheels give the 62 a hot wheels look
lot's of travel decals
nose needs some buffing.
62 356 engine
westfalia interior. i'm looking for the cabinet that mounts to the forward cargo door, a canvas(yellow stripes) for a small side tent, and a bakelight knob for the poles, if anyone has some they want to part with.
couple more photos in the gallery. |

Nicely done. Is that a 356 or Okrasa motor in there? _________________ Beauty is in the eye of the key holder ... |

Nice dude, I figured when I saw you on the freeway pulling a bus towards home that you had been busy. Nice scores. Now give me a call and let me come check them out. _________________ '67 Kombi/EZ Camper

Thanks for finally posting this Ronnie, I had been biting my tongue for too long!
Everett: yes, that is a Mosaik kit, factory installed, and in pretty good shape! We did the M code research.
Ronnie forgot to mention the really cool vintage travel stickers on some of the side windows.

Nice save! That '61 is really funky. Back in the day, that thing was probably the coolest bus in town! |

Wow, nice finds.
Is the Westy kit the removable one? |
I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to westies, but it looks like it is to me. It is however factory installed.
M-Codes
374 6 pop outs
H22 camping interior with small side tent
025 seat belts
168 88a/h battery
195 adjustable back rest for bench seat
543 no seats in load area.
it's funny to me that it was ordered as a camper with no seats, but it still has the regualr arm rests, including one in the closet. |

holy shit. that is awesome. it is a model 221 right? that is the only M-coded SO-22 Mosaik interior that I have ever seen. for all you non westy pervs out there, this is the same kit as an SO-33, except it has no wood interior panels or roof lining, and the kit is easily removeable. they always leave out the part where you hack the engine bay sheet metal to get it done

yes, it is a 221. i was pretty excited when i figured out what that m-code was, i had assumed from first seeing it that the interior was installed after the fact. |

Three more hours, and you would have had to seek emergency assistance! |
