|
|
Hello,
I have opportunity to buy a complete 1200cc VW engine with a 1400cc Okrasa kit. I make the deal but I have just a big problem ! This engine was on a Bug and my car is a 63’ Karmann-Ghia Type 14 convertible or you know it’s impossible to closed the engine lids !
In fact, I want to find the two parts wich are between the filter and the carburator (see my picture in the yellow circle). It’s now impossible to find this NOS parts in Europe. I want to buy it or rebuild them. If someone can send me the original measurements of this parts, it will be great !
Thank you in advance for your help !
Regards, Cyril

please, only post a single thread on any given topic.
I believe you're looking for the angled aircleaner tubes. Contact Joe Ruiz (aka mr. okrasa) he should know who has reproduced them. OG units will be a tough find. _________________ Sounding like a broken record as to why You should be measuring protein during harvest in order to better your agronomic practices. |

Can't you just measure you're carbs and filters and have a muffler shop bend some pipe for you? _________________ 1967 Bug, 1967 Ghia

Damned French that I am!
As 70140 mentioned my reply was not directly in relation with the Cyril’s topic. It is only because I know him well from Paris, my last French location. |
