i shipped a small box allmost 2 weeks ago to Ok priority mail and it STILL hasn't gotten there,.. i guess something to do with the stupid hurricane
has mail all slowed up, but i guess rob7900 can't figure this out or even man up with an apology.
and yes i'm waiting to see his apology also.

| Yes Don got my email and address from my pay pal transaction. What I was refering to ( I guess you can't figure that out?) is Don has not emailed me (like he said he did) that my part was sent out. Some of you guys want to blow this all out of proportion, I guess that's fine as you probably have nothing better else to do. I made a mistake heading my post topic that Don was a bad vendor. Matbe that was too harsh? but the bottom line is that I still don't have my parts? I never said he had to give me constant updates as some of you have aledged I said, or email me constantly.. All I said is that Don received my payment as confirmed by paypal over two weeks ago, and has not returned an email from me regarding the status of my order or why it was delayed.. When I get my part, Don get's and apology.. SIMPLE CONCEPT. Despite what he said, I have not heard from him through email? Too bad you guys made more of this than it really is, but it appears now it has made great entertainment. Thanks to those who emailed me that you understand, I appreciate it! |

people who know him vouched for him AND said if you didn't get the part that THEY would send you the SAME part and yet it was not enough for you.
i sure hope the next 40 years of your life teaches you the patence and some trust the first 40 years hasn't.

| seems we are beating a dead horse here. i think by don's hundred's of transactions here on samba he is no thief. don is quite busy searching for parts and travels a lot. maybe he just does not have access to his email in his travels? ever think that maybe the part got lost in the mail, it happens, and more than you think. i have sold and bought stuff that has gotten lost. don't jump the gun, have some patience and let things work out. don will give you the part or your money back, believe me. |

From reading my prior posts, I think we can establish that "I DO NOT think Don is a Thief!" I have already conceded that this whole thing was probably a mistake either by the post office, or perhaps Don overlooked shipping out the part altogether... If he does ship the part priority mail (like he said he would) and I recieve it, I WILL FORMALLY APOLOGIZE.. Fair enough?

All I can say at this point is it is now going on 3 weeks and still no mirror or email from Don. He said he emailed me and sorry to say that is not the case. I am holding out hope that he follows through and has shipped the mirror like he said he would? If it comes next week, I will be here to offer my apology to Don. But to be honest, I think any reasonable person should expect better service than what has transpired here. Perhaps I should expect an apology from Don on the delay??

In the last 2 months I have had 4 priority mail packages lost by the USPS.
Now with the hurricane problems, mail to the south east has slowed and many packages have been lost due to sorting in the southeast.
I will not send USPS any longer (as of July 1st) as many of the parts sent were hard to find used stuff. Trying to place a claim and get paid back by the USPS takes months and I am still out the parts and have to refund the money.
When people order new and/or used parts I ship UPS ONLY to help cut my loses.
Be patient your parts from VW Cru will arrive, I personally have never had a problem with Don. By the way selling VW parts is NOT how Don makes a living, it's how he supports his hobby, he does have another very successful business.

hmmmm. 8/22 - 9/5...sounds more like 2 weeks yesterday. which means when this thread started it was like 9 days! i was wondering why everyone was jumping all over you and i was getting ready to defend you and then i realized that you dont even seem to have a concept of actual time! shit man, you paypaled him and want your shit overnight or what? yeah, maybe he should have confirmed with an e-mail but you defenetly jumped the gun calling him out. take it easy.

Alright everybody, I wanted to let all those interested parties know that I received Don's priority mail today and it was indeed the mirror I ordered 3 weeks ago. I appreciate Don getting the mirror to me as requested as his first mailing was apparently lost or something? Thanks Don! I apologize for all the uproar that started in this thread earlier.

That was a pretty half assed apology IMO. I always see people bitching about vendors all the time, but I think this buyer, he takes the cake! All these people standing up for the seller, and this guy bitches. Possibly harms this guys reputation, continues to bitch- and finally gets his part priority mail and offers this joke of an apology? what an asshole  |
