Simply an awesome bus. The metal work done to it was amazing to say the least. He has some serious talent. I have to compliment your tenacity in tracking down only original or NOS metal for the repairs. Well done.

They are Goodyear hi-milers. I'm not sure they make them anymore. We bought them in 2009. |

J. Pickens and Matt Cuddy will be driving the 56 westy and Matt's Jersey Looker out to Washington from the east coast, leaving Friday. It will be an epic road trip, arriving here in time for the Vintage Meet which is July 18th.
So I figured I should update this thread on details of assembly etc to bring it up to date. Then they can post some pics and we can follow them.

I had heard there's no trailbash this year, something about John not liking uneven numbers. I'm planning to bring Jim a new camper to sleep in, not sure what - but we're planning to rotate out submission to the Tabernacle Transporter Museum come November. |

No, Trailbash has not been canceled, its just making a road trip.
We can hit the trails July 8th in Souix Falls, S.D., July 11 somewhere near Yellowstone, July 13 near Mt. Rainier, July 15 in the Olympic National Park, etc.
