Got a question for you....
Can I use the short Type III dual port intake manifolds with my Kadron carburetors (in a 1964 Beetle body)?
I'm trying to gain clearance to run a convertible decklid WITH the rain drip tray. I don't want to use decklid stand-offs, and the Kadron manifolds are too tall to allow the air cleaners to clear the drip tray.
It would be sweet if this could work..... |

I know it's an old post, but I was curious about the same thing. Can you use Type III dual single port carbs on an upright fan Type I engine? I feel as if it might hit the shroud. I really prefer single port heads over dual port heads. They are more reliable in my opinion. _________________ aka Ken {o\!/o}
