Can anyone pass on a tried and true method of removing the thick chrome trim below the 1/4 windows on my '69 Ghia w/o destroying them? I practically ruined a piece trying to take it off another car last month. Apparently, the trim on this '69 is attached differently than that on my '62 and my '64, as they were not a problem.

I took my chrome trims off before but I can't remember the exact procedure since it's been a while...but I thought the trims were held down by 3-4 screws? BTW, I have a 69 also.
