I have a Trike with a 1600cc dual carb vw engine that has quad megaphones which are straight pipes. Needless to say it is "VERY LOUD", and the Houston, Tx cops aren't the nicest I have met.
After a search I found baffles to fit the megaphones at http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ACC%2DD%2D2539 . Since I have never installed baffles my question is are these just push in, weld in, or do I have to drill my pipes and add a retainer screw?
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks,

If they're not weld-in baffles, I'd highly recommend set screws. I have 4 set screws holding the baffle in my merged stinger pipe, as it managed to vibrate loos when being held by only one.....I figured it's not going anywhere with 4 of them.
Besides, there are better things to do on a sunny afternoon drive than pick up a hot baffle from the road or a ditch. _________________ Organized people are just too lazy to look for stuff
