Sparkplugs

I was trying to change out my spark plugs and i realized that cyl 1 and 2 were a differend size than 3 and 4. Is it possible that someone in the past had put a different head on one side than the other? If so, Why? Any clue on which head might have been used?

Are the threads different or the visible portion of the plug is what is different?

If the threads it may be the same head but the PO stripped the threads and installed helicoils. But then the plugs would still be the same. Interesting.

Sounds like heli-coil. check for "threads" on sparkplug.

i thaought i stripped it out myself. but i compared the threads and they are completley different. i had to put the fatter ones back in cause the stock ones wouldn't fit. they would just fall through the threads.
