I meant to share my Nate experience, and I forgot until now. Ordered a beam, spindles and horseshoe plates for my dlx. I bugged him from time to time because I was impatient waiting, but he was always cool about it. When the stuff got here it was great. Well built, and went in smooth as you could want. I highly recommend him. Thanks for bringing her fat ass closer to the ground.

Got my offset springplates in. They look great and I'm very happy with the business transaction. Nate and crew are an honest group of guys.
Thanks again Nate. |

Sent Nate my spindles, he dropped them, then modified them for disc brakes, and cleaned them up. They look really nice.
Sent me bushings, tie rods (sent the ends later).
Always good communication, he answered calls and explained that he was either working on it, or waiting for some parts.
He did take a long time (by internet store standards). I paid Nov 5, received partial shipment Mid November, and received the rest of the parts today (December 11). I missed the Bulli Brigade
But since I was ordering custom made stuff, AND I am not his only customer, AND I guess with a one man shop, that is to be expected, so order early!!!
Work is of very good quality, and I never felt like I was ripped off.
Would do business again (I would order way up front though).
Thanks Nate. (I will post pics of the results) _________________

I got a narrowed bus beam from Nate, was totally awesome work. Took a little longer than "I" had thought, but that was to be expected with custom made to order parts. But like I said AWESOME parts and great service! _________________ My Rides

Nates an awesome guy!! I traded him a 67 deluxe bus body and a couple of front ends for a pair of lowered spindles and rear spring plates. Then I traded him a 66 kombi for a custom made bus towbar. I've towed over a hundred buses and his bar is still going strong. Thanks Nate! |

If you have been thinking about going to Nate's dropped spindles just go for it! Quality workmanship and oh' how nice the bus sits and drives with the 2.5" drop. Thanks Nate. |

They where recieved at Nates shop MAY 15th .........

Maybe you are right , Might just have to order parts for the cars I will build next...maybe even before I buy the car. maybe i will be shocked and get the spindles in the mail this week. Maybe I will keep using the word maybe cause its the only one that works. _________________ We are a Republic, NOT a Democracy |

man that's just turdy, I am sorry we have had a busy month for sure and your spindles got brushed aside . In all these years I had never been to the vw classic and i spent the last month getting this turkey ready to drive and in doing that i lost track of a few things never the less we made it both ways with out a hitch and had blast, so i a apologize for the wait.
I JUST PRINTED YOUR LABEL AND WILL BOX EM AND SEND THEM IN THE MORNING.

Thats cool Nate , Like i said not trying to be a jerk, just need the spindles. Thats pretty awsome you got the bus to the classic and all. I understand building something and wanting to get it done by a show or event. The bus that is in my garage is just like that , needing to get it done . I have been waiting on parts ( not just spindles that you are doing) for over a month. I bet the bus you finished would have never made it if to the classic , if you waited a month for spindles...... I understand sometimes work gets piled up. I have my own business and it happens to me also. Communication is the key , I have in the past had to back up and punt a few times my self. Like i said not trying to be a jerk , trying to get a bus built.
This is the feedback thread. I have looked threw it, you got a bunch of good feedback... That is the reason I sent them to you. I know you can handle the job . And i promise you this When i get them I will post pics , and also let the people reading know that you came threw and did a awsome job as i have seen and heard about. The ball is your court. _________________ We are a Republic, NOT a Democracy |

Just FYI it would have been a little faster if you had included contact info in the box with the spindles and if you had contact info in the box next time don't pack it with semi offensive garbage. _________________ I like the smell of leaded gas. |

I here ya man , hindsight is always 20\20 and if i had any idea that writing my info on a piece of paper could have sped it up by a few weeks , I would have wrote that info 4578.9 times . Lets not dwell on what if lets fix the issue , Its what we do today that makes the difference. _________________ We are a Republic, NOT a Democracy |

Just an up date, I did recieve my spindles today which was a good thing. they forgot my link pins though.... so thats kinda of a bummer. But I made a phone call to Nate and he is sending them out priority mail so i should get them in a few days....
The spindles did take a little longer than expected but . One thing I have to say is Nate stepped it up and made it work. _________________ We are a Republic, NOT a Democracy |

Just my 2 cents. Most people who build spindles build one spindle, the flip spindle. Nate does 2.5,flip,4,5,6in.(who knows what else) and that doesnt include the 5-6 different kind of brakes he offers. basicly when u send your spindles and he doesnt know what to do with them they get sat on the table until he figures out what to do with them. Hence, why he likes a note put in the box on what you want. |

Sent Nate my crusty spindles from my '60 bus and he sent them back looking brand new! I went with the stock build. Super fast and easy to deal with. Will always use him from now on. Incredible work!

I got my irs kit and it's installed, thanks Nate!
Yes patience is key, but what you get will be worth waiting for. I personally dont want someone rushing out something that is holding the bus off the ground. I called a few times for the status of my kit too, and when he did say it was going out tommorow, sure enough it went out the next day. I also called a friday evening for a tech support question, and he called me back in a few minutes with an answer. _________________ * ---www.volksblast.com--- *
